The village of Meliden approximately 1.5 miles from the site provides a step back in time with its historic building, picturesque church and traditional style pubs of which it has 3, all add to the charm of the village. A favourite with visitors to the site is the Red Lion Inn where traditional ale and a good selection of food can be purchased. Meliden also has a One Stop shop were you can pick up all your basic provisions and "The Welcome House" a Chinese  and Fish & Chip Take Away.

Prestatyn - Approxamatly Two Miles To The Centre

Prestatyn provides a great location for entertainment and places of interest. A large selection of shops, restaurants, takeaways, pubs and beaches can all be found in Prestatyn. The Nova Centre with it's  indoor pools, and relaxing restaurant and bars. Situated at the northern end of the Offa’s Dyke National Trail Prestatyn is a great base for walking enthusiasts.  The surrounding area offers attractions such as impressive castles at Rhuddlan and Denbigh, an ancient cathedrals at St Asaph and the stunning marble church at Bodelwyddan.

Rhyl- Approxamatly Two Miles From Site

Rhyl a lively and exciting seaside attraction boasts the Sea Quarium with walk through underwater tunnel surrounded by sharks, and other fascinating ocean creatures. The Suncentre an  indoor tropical water park. Rhyl Sky Tower, the 240ft high revolving structure gives fantastic views over Rhyl and beyond. The West Promenade of Rhyl
is home to seaside gardens, mini golf, open air theatre and interactive play zones. Other points of interest in Rhyl are The Village Fun Fair, The Pavilion Theatre, Marine Lake, Miniature Railway and, Botanical Gardens.
